Green fees in Marbella

Getting the best green fees in Marbella just got a whole lot easier. With the latest upgrade to the Rio Real Golf booking system you can opt to pay for your round of golf now or later when it’s more convenient. And as always, there’s something extra for the early birds.

Booking a round of golf at Rio Real has always been easy. There’s even an app so you can book your game on the go. The good news is that now paying for your golf comes with two options: get in there early, pay and enjoy an additional discount; or book ahead and defer your payment until later.

Payment timing depends on how far ahead you book your game of golf at Rio Real. You can choose from one of three options as follows:

Book more than two weeks in advance

This option makes sense all round especially if you’re planning a holiday in Marbella during peak season. Booking your round of golf more than two weeks ahead means that not only do you get first pick of tee times at Rio Real, you’re the first to benefit from some of the best green fees in Marbella.

When you book, you can now choose how you pay:

Extra discount

If you book your green fees at Rio Real more than two weeks ahead of your chosen date, you have the option to pay instantly. The big advantage of paying upfront is that you get 3% extra discount on your total price.

To get 3% off, choose the ‘non-refundable’ option, add your card details into our secure system and enjoy an extra 3% deduction on the price. We believe that this new option makes them the best green fees in Marbella

The takeaway: book more than two weeks ahead, pay instantly and enjoy an additional 3% discount. Note that this is a non-refundable option.

Deferred payment

Now when you book your green fees at Rio Real more than two weeks before you plan to play you can choose to defer payment. This option means that you have a firm booking but you don’t have to pay until five days before you play.

To delay payment, choose the ‘deferred payment’ option and add your card details into our secure system. State-of-the-art tokenization technology takes note of your card, but doesn’t order payment until five days before your chosen date. If you decide to cancel five days prior to your booking date, our system automatically cancels the deferred payment.

The takeaway: book more than two weeks ahead but don’t pay until five days before your game at Rio Real.

Book between 5 and 15 days before you play

We’re well aware that sometimes life doesn’t always let you plan ahead. But the good news is that if you book between 5 and 15 days before you play, you also get to take advantage of the deferred payment option.

Just book your game no less than 5 days and no more than 15 days in advance and choose the ‘deferred payment’ option. Our secure system stores your card details and takes payment five days before you play. If you decide to cancel five days before you’re due to play, our system automatically cancels the deferred payment.

Book to play 1 to 5 days before you play

Maybe you’ve left it until the last minute or have just had such a great round of golf at Rio Real that you can’t wait to play again. If you book your game up until five days ahead, instant payment is the only option. But, the good news is that you can still take advantage of our range of green fee deals. Andalucia`s Gateway

It always makes a good pub quiz question. What is the geographical centre of Andalucía? Historically, and semi-officially, Antequera (near the northern border of Málaga province) is considered to hold that honour – at least for tourist brochure purposes. However, earlier this year a report by the National Centre for Geographical Information argued that the exact centre is in the small Córdoba municipality of Monturque. Other key cities in the region have their own claims to fame: Sevilla, the official capital; Cádiz, the oldest city in the western world; Málaga, the Andalucian capital of international tourism…

Golf and Tennis… Marbella’s Sporting Haven

The town has the highest number of courses of any municipality in Spain, but it is just as much (even more) about quality as it is about quantity. Several of the courses have hosted European Tour events (as well as the World Cup in 1973 and 1989) while others such as Río Real are regular venues for premier national and international amateur tournaments.
