Rio Real & the agency Golf-Service

Rio Real Golf & Hotel continues to invest in technology platforms that improve the client’s experience. In Spain we pioneered the dynamic pricing system for reserving green fees, which had already begun in other sectors like tourism and transport. As part of our digital transformation and process automation, we’ve decided to connect our inventory of tee times, prices, and products with one of the most prestigious agencies in the Costa del Sol: Golf-Service.

Patrick Nilson, co-director of the Swedish company working in Marbella, indicates that “this integration with Rio Real’s reservation system, our ‘top’ golf course on the Costa del Sol, allows us to forget about manually uploading monthly prices and checking availability. From our ERP (management system), we can directly upload the data from Rio Real’s system, which allows us to help our clients make an immediate decision. For our teleoperators, it makes it easier to decide which golf course to reserve.

From Rio Real, our Commercial Director Antonio Gomez Cava, affirms that “this integration is one of the strategic steps that we are developing with our intermediate partners. There is no golf course nor agency that is connected with this local operator, which gives us an advantage, facilitating the decision making of the teleoperators at Golf-Service”.

Other key cities in the region have their own claims to fame: Sevilla, the official capital; Cádiz, the oldest city in the western world; Málaga, the Andalucian capital of international tourism…

Golf and Tennis… Marbella’s Sporting Haven

When it comes to golfMarbella is recognised as Spain’s premier destination. Several of the courses have hosted European Tour events (as well as the World Cup in 1973 and 1989) while others such as Río Real are regular venues for premier national and international amateur tournaments.
